Concert of Hope Raises Awareness for Safe Place

Molly Maid® of Midland & Odessa and the Ms. Molly Foundation, along with True-Lite Christian Fellowship and Icee Studios are sponsoring Concert of Hope, an event to promote awareness about Safe Place programs and services. The concert is scheduled for Sunday, October 4th, 4 p.m. at True-Lite Christian Fellowship, 3001 North A Street, Midland.

Marshall Patton, the owner of Molly Maid® of Midland & Odessa, came up with the idea as a positive way to raise awareness about domestic violence and the help families can find at Safe Place. Every October, the customers and staff of Molly Maid® of Midland & Odessa donate toiletries and hygiene items to Safe Place. Molly Maid® also raises funds that it distributes through a grant from the Ms. Molly Foundation.

“We hope that, like our October fundraising drive, this concert will become an annual event,” Patton explains. “We want it to bring the community together around the idea that there is hope for families experiencing domestic violence, and they can find that hope at Safe Place.”

The concert is free, and everyone is invited. Donations of hygiene and toiletries are welcome, and an offering will be taken. For a list of items to donate, go to the “Volunteer” page on this web site and scroll down to the In-Kind wish list.

Join us Sunday, October 4th at 4 p.m. for an afternoon of celebration and great choral music by the True-Lite Christian Fellowship Praise Choir.
