4th Annual Ponderosa with Panache Features Grady Spears – "Cowboy In The Kitchen"

The 4th Annual Ponderosa with Panache celebrity chef dinner is scheduled for Tuesday, August 30, 2011, at the Odessa Country Club. Grady Spears, celebrity chef from Fort Worth, will prepare and present a very special gourmet dinner featuring his own brand of “Cowboy Cuisine.”

The evening begins at 6:30 p.m. with a cocktail reception featuring Grady’s La Paloma margarita and hors d’oeuvres including Barbecue Quail Tostadas with Roasted Summer Corn Salsa, Buffalo Sliders with Pickled Red Onion and Cheddar Cheese, Mini Green Chile Tamales with Paula’s Goat Cheese. Dinner continues with a Signature Smoked Beef Tenderloin accompanied by Texas Cheese Stuffed Chile Relleno and specialty Ponderosa Barbecue Beans. The delicious finish is the hallmark dessert of Parker County - Peach Crisp with Cajeta and Homemade Vanilla Ice Cream. Chef Spears has selected the perfect wines to pair with the entrée.

During dinner, guests will enjoy the musical talents of singer/songwriters from Nashville who will perform their country music hits and best sellers.

After dinner, the evening really gets lively with an auction of unique and exciting items and packages for your consideration. Some of the items in this year’s auction include:
